Little Learners Preschool is a child-centred early learning community in Sandton Park, Harare, where children are encouraged to belong, be themselves and become confident learners.
Our philosophy is grounded in Belonging, Being & Becoming. We believe the early years are a significant foundation for lifelong learning, confidence, wellbeing and positive relationships. We create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued and encouraged to discover the world around them.
We welcome children from 3 to 5 years, providing an environment filled with play, stories, exploration, questions, creativity and meaningful connections.
Our programme follows the Zimbabwe Heritage ECD A–Grade 2 curriculum, enriched by contemporary international early childhood practices. Little Learners is led by an internationally trained early childhood teacher, working alongside qualified local teachers who bring valuable knowledge of the Zimbabwean curriculum and our local community.
With a 1:10 child-to-teacher ratio, we are able to build meaningful relationships with each child and provide the individual attention, encouragement and care they need to grow with confidence.
Inspiring Wonder reflects children’s natural curiosity, encouraging them to ask questions, explore, imagine and discover through play.
Shaping Tomorrow represents our commitment to building strong foundations for each child’s future — nurturing confident, caring, curious, creative and connected young learners.
Belong. Be. Become.
At Little Learners, we believe young children learn best when they feel safe, valued, curious and connected.
Our approach combines the Zimbabwe Heritage ECD A–Grade 2 curriculum with contemporary international early childhood practices. We provide purposeful learning experiences through play, exploration, stories, conversation, creativity, movement and hands-on discovery.
We recognise that every child is unique. Our educators take time to understand each child’s interests, strengths and developing abilities, creating opportunities for children to learn at their own pace while being gently encouraged to stretch, try new things and develop independence.
Children feel safe, welcomed and connected. We build strong relationships with children and families so that every child knows they are valued and that they have a place in our community.
Childhood is a time to explore, play, imagine and simply be. We give children the freedom and space to enjoy their early years while developing confidence, communication and a sense of self.
We help children develop the foundations they need for the years ahead — becoming confident, curious, caring, creative, connected and ready to learn.
We don’t simply prepare children for the next grade. We nurture the foundations for a lifetime of learning.
Children grow best when they are known, supported, and encouraged. At Little Learners, each group is small and intentionally designed, so every child is seen, heard, and guided. As children grow, we work closely with their parents to decide when they are ready to move to the next stage, ensuring that each transition is thoughtful, supported, and appropriate for the individual child.
Not too casual, not too pushed. Just a calm, affectionate day where every moment has purpose, built on the Zimbabwe Heritage ECD curriculum.

Predictable rhythms help young children feel safe enough to have a go at things. Days move between busy and calm, indoors and out, together and on their own — with time to finish what they started.
Three words hold everything we do. A child who feels they belong will risk trying. A child who knows they are valued will say what they think. And from those two things, growing follows — in language, in numbers, in friendships and in confidence.
We do not see learning as separate subjects. Children develop many skills at the same time through play, everyday experiences and interactions with others — these areas are woven together throughout the day rather than taught in isolation.
The questions families ask us most. If yours is not here, please call or message — we would rather talk it through.
There is no test and no interview for a place here — just a conversation about your child and whether we are the right fit for your family. Here is how it works.
